Small Business Banking Manager

What you'll do:
The Producing Manager – Small Business Banking is responsible for leading a team of 4-5 Small Business Bankers while also maintaining personal production. This role focuses on driving business growth, expanding client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of tailored financial solutions to small business clients, typically with an annual revenue of >$5MM. The Producing Manager will be accountable for developing and executing sales strategies, coaching bankers, and fostering a high-performance culture. Additionally, they will be responsible for deposit and lending growth within their market, actively managing client portfolios, and collaborating with internal partners to enhance the customer experience.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4 – 5 Small Business Bankers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Provide ongoing training and support to enhance banker performance, focusing on consultative selling and relationship management.
- Monitor pipeline management, sales activities, and revenue generation to drive business results.
- Foster a collaborative, client-centric culture that emphasizes accountability, professional growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement strategies to maximize team effectiveness.
- Business Development & Client Engagement
- Personally maintain and grow a portfolio of small business clients by identifying their financial needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Oversee bankers’ efforts in prospecting, networking, and community engagement to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships.
- Develop and execute market-level sales strategies to increase deposits and lending growth.
- Act as a senior point of contact for high-value clients and complex business banking needs.
- Partner with internal teams such as Treasury, Merchant Services, and Commercial Banking to offer comprehensive solutions.
What you'll need:
- 6+ years of related experience in Small Business Banking.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, new account opening, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Advanced business, legal, and technical writing ability with a good working knowledge of industry-standard writing specifications.
- Advanced experience in deposits and treasury management products.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
- May require up to 25% travel.
Compensation:
Salary range for new hires is generally $88,430.00 - $109,236.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
