ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are currently seeking a Business Services Loan Operations Specialist to join our organization in the Albuquerque market. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, effective, and accurate documentation for all commercial loans within the Business Services Department. This includes obtaining, preparing, and documenting critical information for the commercial loan approval process.
What You'll Do:
- Provide Loan Operations support for Member Business lending including preparing loan documents; booking and funding; coordinating appraisal requests; updating exception information in the tracking system; on-going loan billing and servicing.
- Ensure loan files are updated in a timely manner for business loan requests and renewals.
- Handle incoming calls and emails regarding general Business Services issues and provides support with Business Internet banking services.
- Interact with multiple business members, loan officers and other Business Services staff.
- Ensure that business members and Business Services staff are served promptly, courteously, efficiently and professionally.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What You'll need:
- One to three years of similar or related business services loan specialty experience.
- Associate's in business or related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Key Skills and Experience:
- Business Loan Processing: Experienced in processing business loan packages, verifying supporting documents, and collaborating with loan officers and members to obtain missing information. Conducts pre-funding and post-funding reviews of loan documentation.
- Documentation Tracking: Skilled in tracking pending documentation, such as title policies and UCC filings, ensuring proper retention in relevant files. Maintains regular communication with members and loan officers to resolve issues.
- Core System Management: Efficiently enters new loans, renewals, and modifications/extensions into the core system.
- Technical Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of commercial and SBA loan processing. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Laser Pro.
- Pressure Management: Capable of working effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication abilities, with exceptional organizational skills.
- Loan Documentation Generation: Uses LaserPro to generate loan documents as needed.
- Daily Servicing: Manages loan billing, obtains credit bureau reports and flood certifications, and tracks appraisals for assigned loans.
- File Maintenance: Prepares and maintains organized loan files, ensuring document accuracy and completeness.
- Additional Duties: Performs other assigned tasks, including limited Business Internet banking support.
