What you will do:
- Syncade/Moda Subject Matter Expert for Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Design, configure, and maintain Cisco network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring high availability and robust security.
- Install, configure, and manage Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Implement and administer virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, including host management, virtual machine provisioning, and resource allocation.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues related to network, server, and virtualization infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to support business objectives and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery initiatives.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing Cisco network equipment (e.g., CCNA or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server administration, including hands-on experience with Active Directory and related services.
- Demonstrable experience with VMware vSphere, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machine management.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, MCSA, VCP) are a plus.
