Which companies sponsor visas for finance analysts in New Hampshire?
Financial services firms, defense contractors, and healthcare organizations are the most active sponsors in New Hampshire. Fidelity Investments has a significant presence in southern New Hampshire, and BAE Systems sponsors finance roles tied to its defense operations in Nashua. Larger employers in Manchester's healthcare sector, including Elliot Health System and Catholic Medical Center, also periodically sponsor finance analyst positions.
Which visa types are most common for finance analyst roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for finance analyst roles in New Hampshire, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Australian nationals may also pursue the E-3 visa, which follows a similar process without the lottery. Candidates with multinational employer ties sometimes qualify for the L-1B or TN visa depending on nationality and employer structure.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most finance analyst sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the majority of finance analyst sponsorship activity in New Hampshire. Manchester serves as the state's largest city and commercial hub, hosting financial services firms and hospital systems with dedicated finance teams. Nashua's proximity to the Massachusetts border and its concentration of defense and technology employers make it the second most active market. Concord, the state capital, also generates finance roles through government contractors and insurance firms.
How to find finance analyst visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters finance analyst roles by visa sponsorship history, so you can focus on New Hampshire employers who have sponsored similar positions before. Rather than sorting through generic job postings, Migrate Mate surfaces roles where employers have a documented track record of sponsoring finance analysts, which is particularly useful in a smaller state market like New Hampshire.
Are there any state-specific considerations for finance analysts pursuing sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has no state income tax on wages, which affects prevailing wage benchmarking since the Department of Labor sets H-1B wage floors based on local labor market data rather than take-home pay calculations. The state's university system, particularly the University of New Hampshire in Durham, produces finance graduates who compete in the same market, so internationally sponsored candidates typically come with specialized skills in areas like financial modeling, FP&A, or defense cost accounting. Employers in southern New Hampshire also hire across the Massachusetts border, so job searches should account for that regional overlap.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored finance analyst jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
