Which cybersecurity companies sponsor Green Card visas in New Hampshire?
Defense contractors and federal IT services firms are the most active Green Card sponsors in New Hampshire. BAE Systems, MITRE, and Leidos have New Hampshire operations with established immigration sponsorship programs. Larger financial technology and healthcare IT firms in the Manchester and Nashua areas also sponsor permanent residency, particularly for roles requiring specialized security certifications or clearance eligibility. Sponsorship activity is strongest among employers with federal contract obligations.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most cybersecurity Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the largest share of cybersecurity Green Card sponsorship opportunities in New Hampshire, driven by their concentration of defense contractors, financial services firms, and managed security service providers. Bedford and Portsmouth also have active hiring, particularly for roles tied to federal programs. The Route 3 corridor connecting Nashua to Manchester functions as the state's primary technology employment belt for sponsored positions.
What types of cybersecurity roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire?
Roles that qualify for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire cybersecurity typically include information security engineers, penetration testers, security architects, incident response analysts, and compliance specialists such as those focused on NIST or CMMC frameworks. Positions requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information assurance, or a related field qualify under the EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based categories. Clearable roles with defense contractors tend to have the most structured sponsorship pathways.
How do I find cybersecurity Green Card sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate lets you filter cybersecurity jobs in New Hampshire specifically by Green Card sponsorship, so you can identify employers who have an active sponsorship history rather than guessing from job postings. This is particularly useful in New Hampshire, where defense contractors and federal IT firms dominate sponsorship activity but don't always advertise visa support prominently. Filtering by sponsorship type and location on Migrate Mate narrows your search to verified opportunities in the state.
Are there state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire cybersecurity roles?
New Hampshire's cybersecurity hiring is heavily influenced by federal contracting, which adds a layer of security clearance considerations alongside the standard Green Card process. Employers sponsoring foreign nationals for cleared or clearable roles must navigate both USCIS requirements and federal facility access rules, which can affect sponsorship timelines. Additionally, because New Hampshire has no state income tax, total compensation structures differ from neighboring states, which can affect prevailing wage determinations under PERM labor certification filings.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card cybersecurity jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
