Search Distribution & Wholesale Jobs in New JerseyDistribution & Wholesale STEM OPT Sponsorship Jobs in New Jersey: Frequently Asked Questions
Which distribution & wholesale companies sponsor F-1 STEM OPT visas in New Jersey?
Companies with significant distribution and wholesale operations in New Jersey that have filed Labor Condition Applications for STEM-related roles include Amazon, Sysco, AmerisourceBergen, Grainger, and Cardinal Health. These employers typically hire F-1 STEM OPT candidates into supply chain analytics, operations engineering, and demand planning positions. Sponsorship availability varies by role, location, and hiring cycle, so confirming directly with each employer's recruiting team is important.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most distribution & wholesale F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs?
Newark, Edison, Elizabeth, and Piscataway are among the most active hiring locations for distribution and wholesale roles in New Jersey. The Port of Newark and surrounding logistics corridors attract major distribution employers, while Edison and the Route 1 corridor host wholesale and third-party logistics operations. Secaucus and Woodbridge also have notable concentrations of warehouse and supply chain facilities that hire STEM OPT candidates.
What types of distribution & wholesale roles typically qualify for F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship?
Roles that qualify for STEM OPT sponsorship must tie to a STEM-designated degree field. In distribution and wholesale, qualifying positions commonly include supply chain analyst, operations research analyst, logistics engineer, demand planning analyst, inventory data analyst, and procurement analyst. Positions primarily involving physical warehouse operations or sales without a quantitative or engineering component are less likely to meet the STEM OPT degree-match requirement.
How do I find distribution & wholesale F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international students and filters distribution and wholesale employers in New Jersey by their F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship history, so you can identify companies that have actively hired OPT candidates rather than guessing. You can search by industry, role type, and state to narrow results to employers with verified sponsorship activity in supply chain, logistics, and wholesale operations across New Jersey.
Are there state-specific or industry-specific considerations for F-1 STEM OPT in New Jersey's distribution sector?
New Jersey employers enrolling F-1 STEM OPT students must be enrolled in E-Verify, a federal requirement for all STEM OPT extensions. New Jersey's dense logistics infrastructure means many distribution employers operate under tight regulatory oversight, including state labor laws and federal customs compliance, which can affect how employers structure OPT training plans. Students should confirm that the employer's E-Verify enrollment is active and that the role has a formal training plan aligned with their degree field before accepting an offer.
