Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain complex financial models used to evaluate acquisitions, transaction structures, projected returns, and downside scenarios
- Perform underwriting analysis, sensitivity testing, and risk assessment across prospective investment opportunities
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and written recommendations for senior leadership and investment committee discussions
- Support live transaction execution efforts including due diligence coordination, operating data analysis, and third-party diligence review
- Analyze portfolio company performance, operating trends, and financial results to identify key business drivers and value creation opportunities
- Interface directly with brokers, lenders, consultants, and other transaction stakeholders throughout the acquisition and diligence process
- Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive intelligence related to new investment opportunities and sector trends
- Assist with transaction pipeline management, internal reporting, and broader strategic initiatives across the investment platform
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams within a lean, highly visible environment
Ideal Background:
- 1–4 years of experience within Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, Transaction Advisory, Valuation, or a related analytical finance environment
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skill set
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
