ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant. Candidate must have work authorization in USA. This position requires performing a wide range of duties including, but not limited to:
- Be responsible for supporting the sales team with the day-to-day aspects of sourcing and purchasing. An ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have good communication skills.
- Managing daily workflow, providing accurate and complete data input and providing high levels of customer service.
- Receiving and inventory control.
- Maintain tracking documents and crosscheck to ensure platform/tracking document accuracy.
- Willing to contact overseas suppliers outside of standard working hours to resolve urgent matters.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Prefer a minimum of two years college and two years working of experience in a similar role in a trading/distribution company. Major in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical, food science or other science is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Type fast.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment - Excellent written/verbal communications, organization and time management skills - Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Willing and active to study new knowledge.
- Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
