Instructor Nursing Education - Critical Care Service - Full time Days

Join a tight-knit team of nurse educators led by a dynamic leader, responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify the individual and collective learning needs of critical care cardiac nursing staff.
- Develop and implement course curriculum, incorporating evidence based practice utilizing learning platforms that engage learners.
- Actively participate in the orientation of members of the Nursing staff.
- Promote ongoing professional development.
- Actively participate in Nursing orientation program and evaluate staff competence.
This is a full time 5 day a week, flex position with varied start and end times.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Education
- At least 3 to 5 years of acute care experience in critical care
- Current New York State RN license
- ACLS and BCLS certifications through AHA
PREFERRED CRITERIA
- Advanced Life Support Instructor Certification
- National Certification in Nursing Professional Development and/or Clinical Specialty

- Salary Range: $156,300-$187,000/Annual
