Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain associates in North Carolina?
Companies with a documented history of sponsoring work visas for supply chain roles in North Carolina include Lowe's (headquartered in Mooresville), Honeywell, Lenovo's North American headquarters in Morrisville, and pharmaceutical firms concentrated in the Research Triangle Park area such as Biogen and Novo Nordisk. Large logistics operators and contract manufacturers in the Charlotte and Greensboro corridors also appear regularly in Department of Labor filing disclosures.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain associate roles in North Carolina?
The H-1B visa is the most commonly sponsored visa for supply chain associates, particularly for roles requiring a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations research. Employers must demonstrate the position qualifies as a specialty occupation. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying categories. Some employers also sponsor EB-3 immigrant visas for operations and logistics roles over time.
Which cities in North Carolina have the most supply chain associate sponsorship jobs?
Charlotte leads the state for supply chain sponsorship volume, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, logistics hubs, and distribution centers. The Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Research Triangle is the second-largest market, particularly for supply chain roles tied to life sciences and technology. Greensboro and Winston-Salem in the Triad region offer opportunities through aerospace suppliers, textile manufacturers, and regional distribution operations.
How to find supply chain associate visa sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, letting you search supply chain associate roles in North Carolina without manually screening each posting. Because sponsoring employers in North Carolina cluster around Charlotte, the Research Triangle, and the Triad, using Migrate Mate to narrow by location alongside sponsorship status saves significant time compared to broad job searches that surface mostly non-sponsoring employers.
Are there industry or state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for supply chain associates in North Carolina?
North Carolina's Research Triangle Park hosts a dense cluster of life sciences and technology companies that are experienced H-1B sponsors and typically have in-house immigration support. The state's large manufacturing base, particularly in aerospace and automotive supply chains around the Triad, also generates sponsorship demand. Employers must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the specific role and geographic area, so compensation expectations vary across Charlotte, Raleigh, and smaller metro markets.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain associate jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
