Search Supply Chain Associate Jobs in MassachusettsSupply Chain Associate Jobs in Massachusetts: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain associates in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts employers with documented H-1B sponsorship history for supply chain roles include Biogen, Raytheon Technologies, Boston Scientific, Wayfair, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Large manufacturing and life sciences companies along the Route 128 corridor tend to have established immigration infrastructure, making them more likely to sponsor international candidates than smaller regional distributors or logistics firms.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain associate roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for supply chain associates in Massachusetts, provided the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for the TN visa under the NAFTA/USMCA professional categories. Recent graduates on F-1 OPT, including the 24-month STEM extension, also frequently fill these roles before transitioning to employer-sponsored status.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most supply chain associate sponsorship jobs?
Greater Boston, including Cambridge, Waltham, and Lexington along the Route 128 technology corridor, concentrates the majority of sponsored supply chain associate positions. Worcester sees demand from medical device and manufacturing firms, while the South Shore and North Shore areas host distribution and defense-sector employers. Boston itself has growing activity tied to e-commerce operations and biotech procurement functions.
How to find supply chain associate visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers have indicated visa sponsorship availability, making it more efficient than searching general job boards for supply chain associate positions in Massachusetts. You can browse active openings filtered by state and role type, focusing on life sciences, defense, and e-commerce employers in the Greater Boston area and Route 128 corridor, where sponsorship activity is highest.
Are there any Massachusetts-specific considerations for supply chain associate visa sponsorship?
Massachusetts is a high-cost-of-living state, so employers filing H-1B Labor Condition Applications must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirement for the specific role and region, which is set at levels reflecting Greater Boston market rates. The state's strong university pipeline, including MIT, Northeastern, and UMass Amherst, means competition for sponsored supply chain roles can be significant, and candidates with STEM degrees and OPT authorization are often prioritized by employers familiar with the sponsorship process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain associate jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
