Which companies in Ohio sponsor visas for data analytics managers?
Ohio employers with documented H-1B sponsorship activity in analytics leadership include Nationwide Insurance, Progressive Corporation, JPMorgan Chase (Columbus operations), Procter & Gamble, and Huntington Bancshares. Large healthcare systems like OhioHealth and Cleveland Clinic also sponsor data analytics managers. Sponsorship activity is most consistent at enterprise-scale employers with established immigration compliance programs rather than smaller regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for data analytics manager roles in Ohio?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for data analytics manager positions in Ohio, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a related field such as statistics, computer science, or information systems. Candidates already holding L-1A status at a multinational employer may also transfer into a managerial analytics role. O-1 visa petitions are occasionally used for candidates with exceptional research or industry recognition.
Which cities in Ohio have the most data analytics manager sponsorship jobs?
Columbus generates the highest volume of data analytics manager sponsorship activity in Ohio, driven by its concentration of insurance carriers, financial institutions, and technology employers. Cleveland is a secondary hub, particularly within healthcare analytics and manufacturing intelligence. Cincinnati contributes meaningful demand through consumer goods companies, notably Procter & Gamble's headquarters. Smaller markets like Dayton and Akron see occasional postings but at significantly lower frequency than these three cities.
How to find data analytics manager visa sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify data analytics manager roles in Ohio where employers are actively willing to sponsor. Rather than sorting through general job boards, you can search by role and state to surface verified sponsorship opportunities. Focusing your Migrate Mate search on Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati will cover the majority of active Ohio postings for this role.
Are there any Ohio-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for data analytics managers?
Ohio employers sponsoring H-1B workers for data analytics manager roles must comply with Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements, which are tied to the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment Statistics data for the relevant metropolitan area. Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati each have distinct prevailing wage levels, meaning the wage obligation differs by posting location. Ohio's large public university system, including Ohio State University, also creates a pipeline of internationally trained analytics graduates who frequently seek sponsorship after completing degrees in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored data analytics manager jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
