Which companies sponsor visas for data analytics managers in Minnesota?
Target, UnitedHealth Group, Best Buy, U.S. Bancorp, and Mayo Clinic are among the Minnesota employers that have filed for H-1B visa sponsorship in analytics and data roles. These organizations have dedicated immigration support processes and regularly hire senior analytics talent from international pipelines. Smaller health tech and fintech firms in the Twin Cities metro also sponsor, though less consistently than the large enterprise employers.
Which visa types are most common for data analytics manager roles in Minnesota?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for data analytics managers in Minnesota, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as statistics, computer science, or information systems, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding L-1A intracompany transferee status or O-1 visa extraordinary ability visas also appear in senior analytics hiring. Australians may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery.
Which cities in Minnesota have the most data analytics manager sponsorship jobs?
Minneapolis and Saint Paul account for the vast majority of data analytics manager sponsorship opportunities in Minnesota. Minnetonka is also notable given UnitedHealth Group's headquarters presence there. Rochester sees demand tied to Mayo Clinic's analytics and research operations. Outside these metro areas, sponsorship opportunities are limited, so candidates targeting Minnesota should generally focus their search on the Twin Cities corridor.
How to find data analytics manager visa sponsorship jobs in Minnesota?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search for data analytics manager roles in Minnesota without having to screen out employers who don't sponsor. The platform surfaces positions from companies with documented sponsorship history, which is especially useful in Minnesota where large employers like Target and UnitedHealth Group post regularly. Filtering by state and role on Migrate Mate narrows results to the most relevant opportunities.
What should international candidates know about the data analytics manager market in Minnesota?
Minnesota's heavy concentration in healthcare, retail, and financial services means data analytics manager roles often require domain familiarity alongside technical skills. Employers like UnitedHealth and Mayo Clinic expect analytics leaders to understand regulated data environments. The University of Minnesota also produces strong local competition, so international candidates benefit from highlighting leadership experience managing analytics teams and cross-functional stakeholders, not just technical tooling.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored data analytics manager jobs in Minnesota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
