Which companies in Oklahoma sponsor visas for business operations analysts?
Energy companies including Williams Companies, ONEOK, and Devon Energy in Oklahoma City and Tulsa regularly sponsor H-1B visas for business operations and analytics roles. Aerospace employers like Spirit AeroSystems, healthcare networks such as INTEGRIS Health, and regional financial institutions also appear in Department of Labor LCA disclosure data as sponsors for similar positions.
Which visa types are most common for business operations analyst roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for business operations analysts in Oklahoma, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN visa status under the USMCA, which offers a simpler process without the annual lottery.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most business operations analyst sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City accounts for the largest share of business operations analyst sponsorship activity in the state, driven by its concentration of energy, government contracting, and financial services employers. Tulsa is the second-largest market, anchored by pipeline and manufacturing companies. Smaller markets like Norman and Stillwater see occasional openings tied to university-affiliated organizations and regional businesses.
How to find business operations analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search directly for business operations analyst roles in Oklahoma without sorting through employers who don't sponsor. The platform surfaces openings at energy, aerospace, and finance companies across Oklahoma City and Tulsa, which are the two cities where sponsorship activity for this role type is most concentrated.
Are there any state-specific considerations for business operations analysts seeking sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's energy sector drives a significant portion of analyst hiring, so candidates with experience in operational efficiency, supply chain, or financial modeling within oil and gas or pipeline industries have stronger positioning with in-state sponsors. Universities like the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University also produce graduates who compete for the same roles, so international applicants benefit from emphasizing industry-specific experience.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business operations analyst jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
