Search Marketing Manager Jobs in OregonMarketing Manager Jobs in Oregon: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for marketing managers?
Nike and Adidas, both headquartered in the Portland metro area, are among the most active sponsors for marketing manager roles in Oregon, given their global talent needs in brand and digital marketing. Intel's Hillsboro campus also sponsors marketing professionals. Larger consumer brands, tech companies, and healthcare organizations such as Providence Health and PeaceHealth have sponsored marketing roles as well. Sponsorship activity varies by year and business need.
What visa types are most common for marketing managers in Oregon?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for marketing managers in Oregon, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Some employers also use the L-1A or L-1B for internal transfers, particularly multinationals like Nike or Adidas moving talent from international offices. O-1 visas apply for candidates with demonstrated extraordinary achievement in their field.
How to find marketing manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find marketing manager roles in Oregon where employers are open to visa sponsorship. The platform filters jobs specifically by sponsorship willingness, saving you from applying to roles where immigration support isn't available. Focus your search on Portland and Beaverton, where the density of sponsoring employers in consumer goods and tech is highest for marketing functions.
Which Oregon cities have the most marketing manager visa sponsorship opportunities?
Portland is by far the most active market for sponsored marketing manager roles in Oregon, driven by its concentration of consumer brands, tech firms, and agency headquarters. Beaverton and Hillsboro are significant secondary markets due to Nike's world headquarters and Intel's large campus. Eugene and Salem have smaller but growing opportunities, primarily in healthcare and higher education marketing roles.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for marketing managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Oregon follows federal H-1B prevailing wage requirements, and employers must file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor confirming the offered wage meets the regional standard for marketing managers. Portland's cost of living affects prevailing wage determinations, so roles there typically reflect higher wage thresholds than positions in smaller Oregon cities. Oregon's deep ties to the consumer goods and outdoor recreation industries create recurring demand for international marketing talent with specialized brand or global market expertise.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored marketing manager jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
