Which companies sponsor visas for marketing managers in Wisconsin?
Milwaukee-based employers are among the most active sponsors, including Northwestern Mutual, Kohl's, Johnson Controls, and Harley-Davidson, all of which have filed Labor Condition Applications for marketing roles. In Madison, Epic Systems and American Family Insurance have sponsored marketing managers. These companies tend to recruit internationally for roles requiring specialized expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, or marketing analytics.
Which visa types are most common for marketing manager roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa for marketing managers in Wisconsin, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. The L-1A is an option for managers transferring within a multinational company. Australian citizens may be eligible for the E-3, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa category.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most marketing manager sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee accounts for the largest share of marketing manager sponsorship activity in Wisconsin, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and financial services firms. Madison is the second most active market, with healthcare technology and insurance companies sponsoring international hires. Green Bay has a smaller but present market tied to food manufacturing and retail companies operating in the region.
How to find marketing manager visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers have demonstrated visa sponsorship activity, making it easier to identify marketing manager openings in Wisconsin without manually screening hundreds of postings. You can filter by state and role to surface relevant positions at Milwaukee and Madison employers. This saves significant time compared to searching general job boards that don't surface sponsorship data.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for marketing managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Wisconsin marketing manager roles are subject to Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements, which vary by metro area. Milwaukee and Madison have distinct wage determinations, so employers in those cities must meet different thresholds when filing a Labor Condition Application. Madison's strong university presence, particularly the University of Wisconsin-Madison, also creates an OPT-to-sponsorship pipeline that some employers actively use to recruit international marketing talent.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored marketing manager jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
