Are you a customer-obsessed marketing professional with a passion for solving problems and driving an innovative and fast-growing business?
Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) has revolutionized reading and the way authors of any level can engage the millions of readers that shop on Amazon. The successful candidate will combine product marketing expertise with a data-driven approach to understand the author response to new tools, and will translate those insights into targeted strategies that deliver results. This role will operate at the intersection of product, marketing, and customer success, working with a range of launch partners to influence roadmaps, execute campaigns, remove barriers to adoption, and measure and report on KPIs. Which companies in South Carolina sponsor visas for marketing managers?
Companies with a history of sponsoring professional roles in South Carolina include Blackbaud, headquartered in Charleston and known for its nonprofit technology products, as well as Michelin North America in Greenville and Prisma Health in Columbia. Financial services firms and established hospitality groups operating in coastal markets also appear in Department of Labor sponsorship records for marketing and communications positions.
Which visa types are most common for marketing manager roles in South Carolina?
The H-1B is the most common visa for marketing manager positions, as the role generally qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. The O-1A is an option for candidates with documented industry recognition. Australians may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may be eligible for TN visa status under the USMCA professional worker category.
Which cities in South Carolina have the most marketing manager visa sponsorship jobs?
Columbia, as the state capital and home to the University of South Carolina, hosts the greatest concentration of corporate and healthcare marketing roles. Charleston has expanded significantly as a technology and tourism hub, attracting employers who hire for marketing leadership. Greenville rounds out the top three, driven by its manufacturing and international business presence, particularly from European multinationals with U.S. operations headquartered there.
How to find marketing manager visa sponsorship jobs in South Carolina?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify marketing manager roles in South Carolina without sorting through positions that do not offer sponsorship. You can filter by location and job title to surface relevant openings from employers already familiar with the H-1B process. This saves time compared to manually reviewing individual job postings to determine sponsorship eligibility.
Are there any state-specific considerations for marketing managers seeking sponsorship in South Carolina?
South Carolina's sponsoring employers are concentrated in healthcare, manufacturing, and technology sectors rather than the large tech or finance industries common in coastal states, so marketing manager roles here often require sector-specific experience. Employers must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the Charleston, Columbia, or Greenville metropolitan areas, which differ from one another. Candidates connected to the University of South Carolina or Clemson University network may find more receptive employers in these markets.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored marketing manager jobs in South Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
