Which companies sponsor visas for operations analysts in Oregon?
Nike (Beaverton), Intel (Hillsboro), and Daimler Trucks North America (Portland) are among the larger Oregon employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories in operations and analytics roles. Healthcare systems like Oregon Health and Science University and technology firms in the Portland metro area also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA disclosure data for operations analyst positions.
Which visa types are most common for operations analyst roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for operations analysts in Oregon, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in fields like industrial engineering, supply chain management, business analytics, or information systems. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT can also work in these roles while a sponsoring employer pursues H-1B status on their behalf.
Which cities in Oregon have the most operations analyst sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the large majority of operations analyst sponsorship activity in Oregon, driven by its concentration of manufacturing, logistics, and technology employers. The surrounding metro area, including Beaverton and Hillsboro, adds significant volume through Nike's global operations headquarters and Intel's semiconductor campuses. Salem and Eugene see smaller but consistent demand from healthcare and university-affiliated employers.
How to find operations analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search operations analyst roles in Oregon without sorting through employers who don't sponsor. The platform surfaces positions from Portland-area technology, logistics, and manufacturing companies that have active sponsorship histories. Filtering by Oregon state will show you current openings relevant to operations analyst candidates seeking H-1B or OPT-eligible roles.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for operations analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Oregon's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions are determined by the Department of Labor's wage levels for the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro metropolitan area, which typically reflects higher wage floors than rural U.S. markets. Oregon State University and the University of Oregon also produce graduates who enter the local talent pipeline, meaning employers in Corvallis and Eugene occasionally sponsor international hires directly from campus recruiting programs.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored operations analyst jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
