Which companies sponsor visas for operations analysts in Oklahoma?
Energy sector employers are among the most active sponsors in Oklahoma, including Devon Energy, ONEOK, and Williams Companies, all headquartered in the state. Large healthcare systems such as SSM Health and INTEGRIS Health, along with defense contractors and logistics firms operating near Oklahoma City, have also filed Labor Condition Applications for operations analyst roles. Sponsorship activity is highest among mid-size to large corporations with established HR and legal infrastructure.
Which visa types are most common for operations analyst roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for operations analyst positions in Oklahoma, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Some candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship pursue TN visas under the Management Consultant or Engineer categories, depending on job duties. Australian citizens may be eligible for the E-3 visa. Each pathway depends on how the employer structures the role and the applicant's specific qualifications.
How to find operations analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and lets you filter operations analyst jobs by state, including Oklahoma. Rather than sifting through postings from employers who don't sponsor, Migrate Mate surfaces roles from companies with active sponsorship histories. Focusing your search on Oklahoma City and Tulsa will return the highest concentration of relevant openings, particularly within energy, healthcare, and supply chain operations.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most operations analyst sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City accounts for the majority of operations analyst sponsorship activity in the state, driven by its concentration of energy companies, government contractors, and healthcare networks. Tulsa is the second-largest market, with a strong presence of pipeline, manufacturing, and financial services employers. Smaller markets like Norman and Broken Arrow have limited but occasional openings, usually connected to university-adjacent organizations or regional branches of national firms.
Are there any state-specific considerations for operations analysts pursuing sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's economy is heavily tied to the energy sector, so operations analyst roles often require familiarity with supply chain, field operations, or commodity logistics rather than purely corporate or tech-focused functions. University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University produce a pipeline of business and engineering graduates, which means entry-level competition can be high. Prevailing wage requirements under Department of Labor guidelines apply statewide, and employers in Oklahoma must certify that sponsored workers are paid at or above the applicable wage level for the role and location.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored operations analyst jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
