Which companies sponsor visas for project management analysts in Oregon?
Intel is one of Oregon's most active visa sponsors for project management analysts, given its large Hillsboro campus and ongoing semiconductor operations. Nike, based in Beaverton, also sponsors for analysts supporting global product and operations projects. Other notable employers include Providence Health, Daimler Trucks North America, and technology firms in the Portland metro area. Sponsorship volume varies by business cycle and project demand.
Which visa types are most common for project management analyst roles in Oregon?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for project management analysts in Oregon, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. Candidates from Australia may pursue the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may qualify under TN visa status. Employers file Labor Condition Applications with the Department of Labor before sponsoring any of these categories.
Which cities in Oregon have the most project management analyst sponsorship jobs?
Portland and the surrounding metro, including Beaverton and Hillsboro, account for the large majority of project management analyst sponsorship activity in Oregon. Intel's Hillsboro campus alone drives substantial demand. Eugene sees some sponsorship through the University of Oregon and regional healthcare systems. Outside these urban centers, opportunities are limited, so most international candidates focus their search on the Portland metro corridor.
How to find project management analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to search for project management analyst roles in Oregon without manually screening out employers who don't sponsor. You can filter by state and role to see which Oregon employers have active openings and a documented history of sponsoring international candidates, saving significant time compared to broad job searches.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for project management analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Oregon's prevailing wage requirements for sponsored roles are tied to the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro metropolitan statistical area for most positions, meaning employers must meet Department of Labor wage levels specific to that region. Intel's presence creates a strong semiconductor project management pipeline, and Oregon State University and Portland State University produce graduate talent that feeds local employer hiring. Understanding which industries dominate sponsorship locally helps candidates target applications more effectively.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management analyst jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
