Which companies in Tennessee sponsor visas for product architects?
Tennessee's largest visa sponsors for senior technical roles include HCA Healthcare, Asurion, Nissan North America, and Deloitte's Nashville office. Healthcare IT firms concentrated in the Nashville area file Labor Condition Applications for product architect positions with some regularity. Enterprise software companies and managed services firms in the Brentwood and Franklin corridors also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data for this role type.
Which visa types are most common for product architect roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for product architect roles in Tennessee, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field. Candidates with significant international experience may also be considered for L-1A or L-1B intracompany transferee visas if their employer has a qualifying relationship with a U.S. entity.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most product architect sponsorship jobs?
Nashville and its surrounding suburbs, including Franklin and Brentwood, account for the large majority of product architect sponsorship activity in Tennessee. This reflects the concentration of healthcare technology companies, financial services firms, and corporate headquarters in the greater Nashville metropolitan area. Memphis has a smaller but present market, primarily tied to logistics technology and FedEx's enterprise technology operations.
How to find product architect visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship status, making it straightforward to identify product architect roles in Tennessee where employers are actively willing to sponsor. Rather than sorting through general postings, you can browse Tennessee-specific results for this role and review employer sponsorship history. Migrate Mate is built for international candidates navigating the U.S. job market, so the listings are filtered with that context in mind.
Are there state-specific considerations for product architects pursuing visa sponsorship in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax on wages, which can make total compensation packages more attractive relative to comparable roles in high-tax states, a factor some employers reference when benchmarking offers. Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee produce a steady pipeline of technical graduates, and employers familiar with international student hiring through OPT are generally more experienced with subsequent H-1B sponsorship for product architect-level roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product architect jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
