Which companies sponsor visas for product architects in Massachusetts?
Several large employers in Massachusetts have established H-1B visa sponsorship histories for senior product and engineering roles, including Amazon, HubSpot, Wayfair, athenahealth, and Fidelity Investments. Enterprise software, financial technology, and health tech firms along the Route 128 corridor and in Boston's Seaport district account for a significant share of product architect sponsorship activity in the state.
Which visa types are most common for product architect roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product architect roles in Massachusetts, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Candidates with extraordinary ability credentials may pursue the O-1A. Australian citizens may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadians and Mexicans may explore the TN visa under the engineer or computer systems analyst categories.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most product architect sponsorship jobs?
Boston and Cambridge account for the largest concentration of product architect sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts, driven by the dense cluster of technology companies, financial institutions, and startups in those cities. Waltham, Burlington, and Woburn along the Route 128 corridor are also active hiring zones, particularly for enterprise software and defense-adjacent technology employers.
How to find product architect visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse product architect openings in Massachusetts without sorting through roles that don't support international candidates. The platform surfaces employers with active sponsorship histories in the state, which is particularly useful for H-1B and E-3 candidates targeting Boston's tech sector or the Route 128 enterprise corridor.
Are there state-specific factors that affect product architect visa sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts has a high prevailing wage tier for product architect roles due to its concentration of enterprise technology and financial services employers, which means H-1B petitions filed here must meet elevated Department of Labor wage requirements. The state's university pipeline, including MIT, Harvard, and Northeastern, also creates strong competition for sponsorship slots, so candidates with specialized platform architecture or systems design experience tend to stand out with employers navigating the H-1B cap.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product architect jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
