Which companies sponsor visas for product architects in Texas?
Several large employers in Texas have consistent H-1B sponsorship histories for product architect roles. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, AT&T and Tata Consultancy Services in Dallas, Amazon Web Services in Austin, and Accenture across multiple Texas offices appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure data for senior product and architecture positions. Enterprise software and cloud services firms are the most active sponsors in this category.
Which visa types are most common for product architect roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product architects in Texas, as the role typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. Candidates already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT may also work in this role while an employer pursues H-1B sponsorship. L-1A and O-1 visas are less common but used in specific circumstances.
Which cities in Texas have the most product architect sponsorship jobs?
Austin leads Texas for product architect sponsorship activity, anchored by a dense cluster of tech companies and cloud infrastructure teams. Dallas-Fort Worth follows closely, with significant demand from enterprise technology, telecommunications, and financial services firms. Houston contributes opportunities through energy technology and healthcare IT sectors. San Antonio has a smaller but growing presence, particularly around cybersecurity and defense-adjacent technology employers.
How to find product architect visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse product architect roles in Texas without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform covers employers across Austin, Dallas, and Houston, and is built for international candidates navigating H-1B and other work visa pathways. Searching by role and state on Migrate Mate surfaces relevant openings that match both the technical and sponsorship requirements for product architects.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for product architects seeking visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage benchmarking since the Department of Labor uses regional wage data when employers file Labor Condition Applications. Product architect roles in Austin tend to command higher prevailing wages than the same title in smaller Texas markets, which employers must meet or exceed for H-1B compliance. Texas universities including UT Austin, Texas A&M, and UT Dallas also produce strong engineering pipelines that some employers draw from when building out product architecture teams.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product architect jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
