Which companies sponsor visas for product architects in Georgia?
Atlanta-based technology and financial services companies are the most active sponsors for product architect roles in Georgia. NCR Voyix, Global Payments, Fiserv, Cox Enterprises, and Delta Air Lines have all filed H-1B petitions for senior architecture and product engineering positions. Larger enterprise software firms and consulting companies with Atlanta offices, including Salesforce and IBM, also sponsor regularly for this role.
Which visa types are most common for product architect roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product architects in Georgia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at minimum a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Candidates with extraordinary ability in product architecture may also qualify for the O-1A. Intracompany transferees moving into architect roles within multinational firms can use the L-1A or L-1B depending on their management responsibilities.
Which cities in Georgia have the most product architect sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of product architect sponsorship activity in Georgia. The Midtown and Buckhead tech corridors, along with suburban hubs in Alpharetta and Dunwoody, concentrate the state's enterprise software, fintech, and cloud infrastructure employers. Alpharetta in particular hosts a significant cluster of financial technology companies that hire for senior architecture roles. Outside Metro Atlanta, opportunities are limited.
How to find product architect visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse product architect roles in Georgia without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. Because product architect is a senior, specialized role, searching by the exact title matters. Migrate Mate's filters let you target Georgia-based openings in fintech, enterprise software, and cloud infrastructure, which are the sectors most actively sponsoring this role in the state.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for product architect visa sponsorship?
Georgia does not impose state-level licensing requirements specific to product architects, so the primary considerations are federal. Employers must file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor certifying they'll pay the prevailing wage for the role and location. Atlanta's prevailing wage determinations for senior architecture roles are set by DOL and reflect Metro Atlanta market rates. Georgia Tech's computer science and engineering programs also feed a strong local candidate pipeline, which shapes how competitive sponsorship roles tend to be.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product architect jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
