Which companies in Arizona sponsor visas for product architects?
Intel's large Chandler campus is one of the most active sponsors for senior technical roles including product architects. Honeywell's aerospace and connected enterprise divisions in Phoenix also have a track record of H-1B sponsorship. Fintech companies like Voya Financial and regional cloud infrastructure firms in Scottsdale have similarly filed for product architect positions, though sponsorship decisions vary by role, team, and hiring cycle.
What visa types are most common for product architect roles in Arizona?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product architects in Arizona, as the role typically requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates with extraordinary ability or multinational manager backgrounds may also be considered for O-1 or L-1 visas respectively, depending on their specific circumstances and employer eligibility.
How to find product architect visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find product architect roles in Arizona where employers are open to visa sponsorship. Because sponsorship willingness is rarely stated clearly on general job postings, Migrate Mate filters specifically for sponsoring employers, saving significant research time. Focusing your search on Phoenix, Chandler, and Scottsdale will surface the highest concentration of relevant openings in the state.
Which cities in Arizona have the most product architect sponsorship jobs?
The Phoenix metro area accounts for the large majority of product architect sponsorship activity in Arizona. Chandler stands out due to Intel's significant engineering presence. Scottsdale hosts a concentration of fintech and SaaS companies that hire for senior product and architecture roles. Tempe, home to Arizona State University and several tech campuses, also sees steady demand, particularly from companies with established university recruiting relationships.
Are there any Arizona-specific considerations for product architects seeking visa sponsorship?
Arizona's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program are benchmarked to the Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale metropolitan area for most roles, which tends to reflect a competitive but not the highest-tier market compared to San Francisco or New York. The state's growing semiconductor and aerospace sectors, partly driven by CHIPS Act investments at Intel and TSMC's Phoenix facility, have increased demand for senior technical talent and may expand sponsorship activity in coming years.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product architect jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
