Which companies sponsor visas for product architects in Missouri?
World Wide Technology in St. Louis, Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) in Kansas City, and Edward Jones are among the Missouri employers with documented H-1B sponsorship history for senior technical roles. Large technology consultancies and financial services firms operating in the state tend to have dedicated immigration support teams, making them more likely to sponsor product architects than smaller regional employers.
Which visa types are most common for product architect roles in Missouri?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product architects in Missouri. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Candidates already in the U.S. on OPT or STEM OPT often transition into H-1B sponsorship when an employer files a petition on their behalf.
Which cities in Missouri have the most product architect sponsorship jobs?
St. Louis and Kansas City account for the majority of product architect sponsorship opportunities in Missouri. St. Louis is home to World Wide Technology, a major technology solutions provider, and a cluster of financial and healthcare IT firms. Kansas City hosts Oracle Health and a growing corridor of technology employers. Columbia and Springfield have a smaller presence, primarily tied to university-affiliated or regional healthcare employers.
How to find product architect visa sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search for product architect roles in Missouri without sifting through positions that don't support international candidates. The platform surfaces employers with active sponsorship programs, which is particularly useful given that Missouri's product architect market is concentrated among a smaller set of enterprise employers compared to coastal tech hubs.
Are there any state-specific considerations for product architects seeking visa sponsorship in Missouri?
Missouri does not impose state-level licensing requirements specific to product architects, so the sponsorship process follows standard federal H-1B procedures including the Department of Labor's prevailing wage determination. Missouri's lower cost of living compared to coastal cities means prevailing wage benchmarks are generally set at lower levels, which can affect the wage floor employers must meet when filing a Labor Condition Application for this role.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product architect jobs in Missouri?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
