Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for product architects?
Intel, Nike, and Adidas are among Oregon's largest employers with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for senior technical and product roles. Beyond those household names, Portland-based software firms and mid-size technology companies in the Silicon Forest corridor also appear in Department of Labor LCA filings for product architect positions. Sponsorship activity tends to concentrate in Hillsboro and Portland.
Which visa types are most common for product architect roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most commonly used visa for product architect roles in Oregon, as the position typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding L-1A or L-1B status through a multinational employer, or those eligible for the O-1A based on extraordinary ability, may also find Oregon employers receptive to those pathways.
Which cities in Oregon have the most product architect sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the largest share of product architect sponsorship activity in Oregon, driven by its concentration of technology, software, and apparel-tech companies. Hillsboro is a close second, anchored by Intel's substantial campus and supplier ecosystem. Beaverton also appears in sponsorship filings, largely connected to Nike's world headquarters. Outside the greater Portland metro, sponsorship opportunities for this role are limited.
How to find product architect visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse product architect openings in Oregon without sorting through roles that won't support international candidates. You can filter by state and role type to surface positions at Oregon employers, including those in Portland and Hillsboro, that have indicated willingness to sponsor. This saves considerable time compared to manually reviewing individual company career pages.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for product architects seeking visa sponsorship?
Oregon's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B positions are benchmarked to the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro metropolitan area, which reflects a competitive technology market. Oregon State University and the University of Oregon produce engineering and computer science graduates who feed into the local talent pipeline, meaning employers are actively engaged with technical hiring in the state. Product architects with experience in hardware, semiconductor, or athletic technology can find particularly relevant opportunities tied to Intel and Nike's Oregon operations.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product architect jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
