Which companies sponsor visas for product architects in Indiana?
Indianapolis-based employers with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for senior technical roles include Salesforce (which has a major Midwest hub there), Eli Lilly, Cummins, OneAmerica, and Anthem (now Elevance Health). Larger employers and enterprise software consultancies filing Labor Condition Applications with the Department of Labor are generally the most consistent sponsors for product architect positions in the state.
Which visa types are most common for product architect roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product architects in Indiana, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a related technical field. The O-1A is an option for candidates with documented recognition in product design or architecture. Canadians and Mexicans may qualify under the TN visa in certain software or engineering-aligned roles, depending on how the position is defined.
Which cities in Indiana have the most product architect sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the large majority of product architect sponsorship opportunities in Indiana, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, financial services firms, and a growing technology sector. Bloomington has some activity tied to Indiana University's research and tech commercialization programs. Outside those two cities, product architect roles with visa sponsorship are rare, so most candidates focus their search on the Indianapolis metro area.
How to find product architect visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters job listings by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can search product architect roles in Indiana without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform focuses on H-1B and other work visa categories, which is especially useful for product architect candidates who need an employer willing to file a petition and Labor Condition Application on their behalf.
What should product architects know about Indiana's sponsorship market before applying?
Indiana's tech hiring is heavily concentrated in enterprise software, life sciences, and financial services, so product architects with experience in those verticals tend to get more traction with local sponsors. The state does not have a standalone tech hub equivalent to a coastal market, meaning the pool of H-1B-sponsoring employers is smaller. Candidates should prioritize companies with prior LCA filings for product or technical architect roles, which are publicly searchable through the Department of Labor's disclosure database.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product architect jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
