Program Overview
Dal-Tile's Summer Internship Program provides hands-on experience, exposure to business operations, and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that impact the organization. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams, gain real-world experience, and present their work during our Intern Expo on August 5, 2026.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support ongoing system implementation initiatives within the department. This role will focus on helping bridge the gap between current processes and new technology, contributing to improved efficiency across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and document current supply chain processes and workflows
- Support transition efforts from legacy systems to new technology platforms
- Conduct research on capabilities and functionality of new systems
- Assist in identifying process gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Work with team members and leadership to support implementation efforts
- Utilize Excel to track, analyze, and report on data
- Contribute to a project that will improve efficiency in receiving finished goods, machinery, and raw materials
Project Details
- Hands-on training in current processes and systems
- Exposure to new system implementation and capabilities
- Focus on bridging gaps between old and new technology
- Collaboration with department leadership and key stakeholders
- Final project presentation during Intern Expo Day
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- Junior or Senior standing preferred
- Strong Excel skills preferred
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Strong communication and willingness to learn
Program Requirements
- Must be available to work full-time during the internship (May 18 - August 7, 2026)
- Ability to attend Intern Expo Day on August 5, 2026
- Must be able to work on-site at assigned location
