Which companies sponsor visas for product management specialists in Texas?
Several large Texas-based employers have established track records of sponsoring H-1B visas for product management roles. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, AT&T and Texas Instruments in Dallas, and IBM in Austin regularly appear in Department of Labor LCA filings for product management positions. Enterprise software firms and fintech companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex also sponsor product management specialists with some regularity.
Which visa types are most common for product management specialist roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product management specialists in Texas, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Australian nationals may also pursue the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals can use TN visa status under the USMCA, provided the role and their credentials meet the applicable requirements.
Which cities in Texas have the most product management specialist sponsorship jobs?
Austin leads Texas for product management specialist sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of technology companies and corporate headquarters. Dallas-Fort Worth follows closely, with strong demand in enterprise software, telecommunications, and financial services. Houston adds opportunities in energy technology and healthcare IT. San Antonio has a smaller but growing tech presence, particularly around cybersecurity and defense-adjacent product roles.
How to find product management specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and filters product management specialist roles in Texas by sponsorship history. Rather than sorting through postings that may not lead to sponsorship, Migrate Mate surfaces employers with verified H-1B filing records in product management. Filtering by Texas cities like Austin, Dallas, or Houston helps narrow results to the markets most active in this role category.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for product management specialist visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations employers submit on Labor Condition Applications, as wage benchmarks are set by the Department of Labor at the metropolitan statistical area level, not the state level. Austin's tech growth has pushed prevailing wages for product management roles upward in recent years. Several Texas universities, including UT Austin and Texas A&M, also generate strong pipelines of international candidates who transition from OPT into sponsored roles at Texas employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product management specialist jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
