Which companies sponsor visas for regional managers in Texas?
Large multinationals and national chains with significant Texas operations are the most consistent sponsors. Amazon, Walmart, ExxonMobil, AT&T, Dell Technologies, and H-E-B have all filed H-1B visa or permanent residence petitions for regional management roles in Texas. Retail, energy, logistics, and healthcare companies tend to have the highest volume of regional manager sponsorship cases in the state.
Which visa types are most common for regional manager roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for regional managers in Texas, provided the role requires a specialized bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as business administration, operations management, or supply chain. L-1A visas are also used for regional managers transferring from a foreign affiliate or subsidiary into a Texas-based leadership position. TN visas cover Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management roles.
Which cities in Texas have the most regional manager sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads the state for regional manager sponsorship volume, supported by its dense concentration of corporate headquarters and distribution infrastructure. Houston follows closely, particularly in energy, petrochemical, and logistics sectors. Austin has grown significantly as a tech and retail hub, while San Antonio sees consistent demand from healthcare, military-adjacent industries, and national retail chains.
How to find regional manager visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to search for regional manager roles in Texas without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. You can filter by state and role type to surface active openings from employers who have a documented history of sponsoring work visas for management-level positions in Texas.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for regional manager visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure total compensation packages for sponsored roles, though it does not change federal visa requirements. The state's size means regional manager roles often cover multi-city or multi-state territories, which can affect the worksite location listed on an H-1B petition. Employers must file a Labor Condition Application reflecting the correct prevailing wage for the primary work location, whether that is Houston, Dallas, or another metro.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored regional manager jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
