Search Scheduler Jobs in TexasScheduler Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for schedulers in Texas?
Healthcare networks are among the most active sponsors for scheduler roles in Texas. HCA Healthcare, Baylor Scott and White Health, and UT Health have sponsored schedulers through H-1B visa and other visa categories. In energy and logistics, companies like Halliburton, Kinder Morgan, and Union Pacific also hire schedulers at scale in Texas locations. Sponsorship availability varies by role complexity and business need.
Which visa types are most common for scheduler roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for scheduler positions that qualify as specialty occupations, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, supply chain, or operations management. Some scheduler roles in healthcare qualify under TN visa status for Canadian and Mexican nationals. Employers determine eligibility based on the specific duties and degree requirements of each position.
Which cities in Texas have the most scheduler sponsorship jobs?
Houston leads in scheduler sponsorship volume, driven by its concentration of energy companies, hospital systems, and petrochemical operations that rely heavily on production and field schedulers. Dallas and its suburbs are strong for healthcare and corporate operations scheduling. San Antonio has notable healthcare and military-contractor activity. Austin's growing tech and logistics sectors also generate scheduler openings with sponsorship potential.
How to find scheduler visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters scheduler roles in Texas by visa sponsorship status, so you're not sorting through positions that won't support your work authorization. You can search by city, industry, and role type to find healthcare, energy, or logistics scheduler openings with confirmed sponsorship history. Migrate Mate saves significant time compared to manually researching each employer's immigration track record.
Are there state-specific factors that affect scheduler visa sponsorship in Texas?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons used in Department of Labor filings for H-1B petitions, since cost-of-living calculations differ from high-tax states. The state's large healthcare sector, governed partly by Texas Health and Human Services regulations, creates consistent demand for scheduling professionals in clinical settings. Texas's size also means scheduler roles span distinct regional labor markets, so prevailing wage levels differ between Houston, Dallas, and smaller metros.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored scheduler jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
