- Educate clients on biomechanics, body mechanics, physiology, and proper manual handling techniques to optimize performance and prevent injury
- Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement
- Demonstrate excellent client communication skills to build trust and foster long-term relationships
- Maintain comprehensive records of training sessions, client progress, and program adjustments
Requirements
- Certification as a Personal Trainer from an accredited organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM) is essential
- Proven experience in fitness training, including working with athletes and developing strength and conditioning programs
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics
- Valid CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification required for emergency response readiness
- Experience in group fitness instruction, sports coaching, or health club environments is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse clients of all ages and fitness levels
- Ability to demonstrate proper weight handling techniques in the workplace safely
- Knowledge of first aid procedures to respond effectively in case of injuries or emergencies
