Polsinelli is seeking an experienced full-time Legal Administrative Assistant for our Salt Lake City office. This position will support attorneys in the Litigation, Capital Markets, and Tech Transactions & Data Privacy practice groups while also assisting with day-to-day office operations.
The Salt Lake City office is located within a shared professional office environment, so this role will also help serve as an onsite point of contact for firm personnel and coordinate with building management and shared-office resources as needed. This is a full-time, onsite position based in the Salt Lake City office. Regular and reliable onsite attendance is required due to the attorney support and office operational responsibilities of the role. Occasional travel to the Park City office may be required.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and resolve routine issues independently and escalate matters when appropriate.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with attorneys, clients, staff, and other firm personnel while maintaining positive working relationships.
- Draft, revise, proofread, and format documents accurately and efficiently.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and attention to detail.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, filing requirements, and the litigation process.
- Assist with practice group projects, training sessions, and onboarding of new employees supporting litigation teams.
- Provide onsite assistance with basic IT needs in coordination with the firm’s remote Desktop Support team.
- Coordinate with remote management, building personnel, and shared-office resources to address facilities and operational needs, including office supplies, access cards, conference rooms, copiers, mail, and other general office needs.
- Provide occasional in-person support to the Park City office.
- Partner with the remote Office Administrator to support the overall operations of the Salt Lake City office.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of relevant law firm experience.
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to effectively prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects while demonstrating strong initiative and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with InTapp, Chrome River, iManage, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
