Tips for Finding H-1B1 Singapore Sponsorship Jobs in Wisconsin
Verify your degree meets specialty occupation standards
The H-1B1 visa requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a field directly related to the role. Check your occupation's typical education requirements against the O*NET profile before applying to Wisconsin employers, so you can address any mismatch upfront.
Target Wisconsin employers with active LCA filings
Use the OFLC Wage Search to identify Wisconsin companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for H-1B1 Singapore positions. Employers in Madison's biotech corridor and Milwaukee's financial services sector appear regularly in DOL disclosure data.
Search verified H-1B1 sponsors through Migrate Mate
Filter Wisconsin job listings by H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history on Migrate Mate. The platform surfaces employers with confirmed LCA filing records, cutting the time you'd spend manually cross-referencing DOL disclosure files for Wisconsin-based roles.
Distinguish H-1B1 filing from standard H-1B paperwork
Wisconsin employers unfamiliar with the H-1B1 visa may default to H-1B visa procedures. The H-1B1 skips the lottery and uses a different USCIS form set. Confirm with your prospective employer's HR team early that they understand the distinction before an offer is extended.

Which industries in Wisconsin sponsor the most H-1B1 Singapore visas?
Healthcare systems, engineering and manufacturing firms, and financial services companies account for the largest share of H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity in Wisconsin. Hospitals and health networks in Milwaukee and Madison sponsor roles in clinical and technical specialties, while the state's manufacturing corridor generates demand for engineers and operations professionals with credentials that meet specialty occupation standards.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee concentrates the highest employer density for H-1B1 Singapore roles, driven by its financial services, healthcare, and professional services sectors. Madison follows closely, anchored by research institutions, biotech, and state government contractors. Green Bay and Appleton in the Fox Valley add engineering and manufacturing opportunities, giving Singaporean professionals multiple metro areas to target.
What types of roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in Wisconsin?
Roles that qualify require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related specialty field. In Wisconsin, this commonly includes software engineers, financial analysts, mechanical and civil engineers, healthcare practitioners, and research scientists. Generalist or supervisory titles without a defined degree requirement in a specific discipline are less likely to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation criteria for the H-1B1 visa.
How do I find H-1B1 Singapore jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters Wisconsin job listings specifically by H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history, using DOL Labor Condition Application data to surface employers that have sponsored the visa before. You can also cross-reference the OFLC Wage Search for Wisconsin LCA filings by occupation and confirm specialty occupation fit for your role using the O*NET occupation profile database.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
