Which technology companies in Wisconsin sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas?
Wisconsin technology employers with documented H-1B1 Singapore Labor Condition Application filings include Epic Systems in Verona, Fiserv in Brookfield, Northwestern Mutual in Milwaukee, and Exact Sciences in Madison. Larger enterprises in healthtech and fintech tend to have established immigration programs and sponsor H-1B1 Singapore applications more consistently than early-stage startups, though sponsorship availability varies by role and hiring cycle.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Madison accounts for the highest concentration of technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship opportunities in Wisconsin, driven by Epic Systems and a cluster of university-affiliated healthtech companies. Milwaukee is the second-largest market, anchored by Fiserv, Northwestern Mutual, and Johnson Controls. Brookfield and Green Bay have smaller but active technology hiring bases, particularly in enterprise software and manufacturing IT.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Roles that typically meet the H-1B1 Singapore specialty occupation standard in technology include software engineers, data scientists, systems architects, cybersecurity analysts, cloud infrastructure engineers, and business intelligence developers. Each position must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as computer science, information systems, or electrical engineering. General IT support roles that accept any degree field are less likely to qualify.
How do I find technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search: you can filter by H-1B1 Singapore visa type, Wisconsin location, and technology industry to surface employers with verified LCA filing history. Because Migrate Mate surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application data, you can see which Wisconsin technology companies have actively sponsored H-1B1 Singapore positions rather than relying on job postings that may not disclose sponsorship availability upfront.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore technology sponsorship?
Wisconsin does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal H-1B1 Singapore rules, but the state's technology sector skews heavily toward enterprise software and healthtech, meaning employers often require domain-specific credentials alongside a computer science or engineering degree. Wisconsin employers filing LCAs must post prevailing wage notices at the worksite; Singaporean nationals can verify applicable wage levels using the OFLC Wage Search and O*NET for occupation-level benchmarks.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore technology jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
