About the Team
The G&A Recruiting team partners with DoorDash's corporate functions to build the talent that enables the company to operate, scale, and innovate. Within this, a growing area of focus is technical hiring across G&A, spanning Security Engineering, People Technology, and Global Support Systems.
This role sits at the intersection of technical and non-technical recruiting, supporting some of the most critical but less traditional engineering functions at DoorDash. You'll also play a key role in shaping how we approach this hiring globally, partnering across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
About the Role
In this role, you will lead technical hiring across G&A functions, with a focus on Security Engineering, People Technology, and platform/GSS roles. While your core execution will be focused on DoorDash, you'll also help drive alignment and consistency in how we approach this hiring across our international brands.
This is a unique opportunity to operate in a high-impact, less saturated space, where strong talent strategy, stakeholder partnership, and creativity in sourcing are critical to success.
You'll partner closely with leaders across Legal Security, and People Technology to translate business needs into effective hiring strategies, while also helping to build more scalable and consistent approaches to technical hiring across G&A globally.
In your first 90 days, you will begin managing a portfolio of active searches, build trust with key executives, and establish rigorous operating mechanisms for search execution. Success in this role is defined by exceptional search quality, trusted partnerships, and consistent delivery against our most critical hiring needs.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Lead hiring for specialized technical roles within G&A, including Security Engineering, People Technology, and platform/GSS functions.
- Partner with Security, Engineering, and People leaders to align hiring strategies with evolving business and technical priorities.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies for niche talent pools, where traditional approaches may not be sufficient.
- Act as a connector across brands (DoorDash, Wolt, Deliveroo), helping to drive consistency and share best practices in G&A technical hiring.
- Improve hiring quality through structured assessment, interviewer calibration, and thoughtful candidate evaluation.
- Contribute to broader recruiting initiatives focused on global alignment, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
We're excited about you because…
- You have 7+ years of recruiting experience in technical hiring (e.g., Security, Infrastructure, Platform, or related domains).
- You're comfortable operating in less defined or emerging hiring areas and can build structure where it doesn't yet exist.
- You're a strong partner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and can bridge those worlds effectively.
- You bring strong client management skills and can influence and guide senior leaders through complex and competitive search processes.
- You are a talent advisor who leverages market intelligence, structured assessment, and external networks to shape hiring strategies and outcomes.
- You have a proven ability to build long-term relationships with senior candidates and facilitate meaningful engagement between talent and DoorDash leadership.
- You excel in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and bring strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills that drive impact.

Which technology companies in Maryland sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas?
Maryland's federal contracting base produces a significant share of H-1B1 visa Singapore filings in technology. Companies such as Leidos, SAIC, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, and Lockheed Martin have filed Labor Condition Applications for specialty occupation technology roles. Biotech and health IT firms in the Montgomery County corridor, including those supporting NIH and FDA operations, also appear regularly in OFLC disclosure data for H-1B1 Singapore positions.
Which cities in Maryland have the most technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
The Baltimore-Washington corridor concentrates the largest share of Maryland's H-1B1 Singapore technology jobs. Bethesda, Rockville, and Silver Spring in Montgomery County lead due to proximity to federal agencies and life sciences headquarters. Baltimore itself supports a growing cybersecurity and health IT cluster. Annapolis Junction and Columbia, home to several defense and intelligence contractors, also generate consistent H-1B1 Singapore technology filings.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in Maryland?
Roles that qualify must meet the H-1B1 specialty occupation standard, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In Maryland, this commonly covers software engineers, cybersecurity analysts, systems architects, data scientists, cloud infrastructure engineers, and IT project managers with technical degrees. Roles supporting federal agencies often require security clearance eligibility in addition to meeting the specialty occupation definition recognized by USCIS.
How do I find technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Maryland?
Migrate Mate filters technology jobs in Maryland specifically verified for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity, drawing on DOL Labor Condition Application filing history so you can identify employers who have sponsored the visa category before. Search by Maryland location and technology role type to surface active openings from companies with a documented H-1B1 Singapore filing record, which is more targeted than reviewing unfiltered general job listings.
Are there state-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in Maryland's technology sector?
Maryland's concentration of federal contractors means many technology roles require U.S. security clearances, which Singaporean nationals on H-1B1 status can apply for but may face longer adjudication timelines as foreign nationals. Additionally, Maryland employers working on certain government contracts must participate in E-Verify, and H-1B1 holders are work-authorized through that system. Employers typically coordinate with immigration counsel to confirm H-1B1 compliance requirements before filing a Labor Condition Application with OFLC.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore technology jobs in Maryland?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
