INTRODUCTION
The Meta SuperIntelligence Lab (Meta SuperIntelligence Lab) is dedicated to developing AI-powered experiences for consumers, leveraging Meta's cutting-edge models. We're seeking a Special Projects Lead to take on MSL's hardest operational and strategic challenges — scoping ambiguous problems, driving cross-functional execution, and delivering results on high-priority initiatives on behalf of the Chief AI Officer. This role is for a highly strategic, execution-oriented operator who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and delivers at scale. You'll work across the MSL organization to identify what needs to get done, figure out how to do it, and make it happen — whether that's standing up a new process, driving a critical cross-org initiative, or solving a problem no one else has been able to crack.
MSL Special Projects Lead Responsibilities:
- Own and execute MSL's highest-priority special projects end-to-end — from problem definition and stakeholder alignment through delivery and measurable outcomes
- Take on emerging, ambiguous challenges that don't have a clear owner or playbook and drive them to resolution with speed and rigor
- Develop project strategies, track execution against goals, and ensure accountability across workstreams
- Drive collaboration across Legal, Finance, HR, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to remove friction and advance project objectives
- Build working relationships and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes to accelerate decision-making and unblock execution
- Design and implement operational frameworks, processes, and communication structures that enable MSL to execute effectively as the organization scales
- Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies, then build solutions that create leverage across the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years of proven experience in operations, strategic initiatives, program management, or a similar role within a fast-paced, complex organization
- Demonstrated ability to independently own and drive complex projects from ambiguity through execution and measurable results
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, including stakeholder management, action tracking, and cross-functional coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft executive briefs and presentations
- Proven track record of organizing, developing, and executing strategic projects that deliver results
- Experience in navigating C-Suite dynamics and company policies and procedures
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, applications, and industry trends sufficient to engage with technical teams and inform operational decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience identifying and pursuing high-impact initiatives with limited direction, moving from problem identification to solution delivery with minimal oversight
- Experience in a special projects, strategic initiatives, or similar high-autonomy execution role

Which technology companies sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas in California?
California's largest technology employers, including Apple, Google, Meta, Salesforce, Oracle, Nvidia, and Qualcomm, have consistent H-1B1 visa Labor Condition Application filing histories. Mid-size software and semiconductor firms in Silicon Valley and San Diego also sponsor regularly. You can verify which specific employers have filed LCAs for Singapore nationals by searching OFLC disclosure data filtered by visa type.
Which cities in California have the most technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
San Jose, San Francisco, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara collectively account for the majority of California's technology H-1B1 Singapore LCA filings, driven by the density of enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, and semiconductor employers in the Bay Area. San Diego is a secondary hub, particularly for wireless technology, biotech-adjacent software, and defense-sector engineering roles.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Roles that require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field qualify as specialty occupations under the H-1B1 visa. In California's technology sector, this commonly includes software engineers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, cybersecurity analysts, and product managers with technical degree backgrounds. Generalist roles where any degree field is acceptable typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard.
How do I find technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate surfaces California technology roles at employers with verified H-1B1 visa LCA filing history, so you can focus on companies that have actively sponsored Singapore nationals rather than applying broadly. Filter by state and visa type to see current openings matched to H-1B1 eligibility. Confirming LCA history before applying significantly narrows your search to employers already familiar with the H-1B1 process.
Are there any California-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in technology?
California employers must post the certified LCA at the worksite for ten consecutive business days and comply with state labor law alongside federal DOL requirements. California's prevailing wage obligations can exceed federal OFLC Wage Search levels in high-cost metros like San Francisco and San Jose, so employers typically conduct their own wage analysis before filing. Some California technology firms also require E-Verify enrollment for sponsored roles.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore technology jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
