The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing routine inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Review raw material inspection records and documentation to verify accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Initiate nonconformance reports when materials or components do not meet required quality standards
- Support the raw material release process by verifying inspection results and documentation completeness
- Ensure inspection activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Practice requirements
- Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and quality documentation
- Collaborate with quality assurance and manufacturing teams to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong experience with raw material inspection and release processes
- Experience working in environments regulated by Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Practice standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately review technical documentation
- Ability to identify quality issues and initiate nonconformance reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with quality assurance systems and inspection documentation processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
