The Strategic Communicator will coordinate communication efforts in PLHC. Collaborate with University Strategic Communications. Develop and manage the PLHC annual communications plan. Work closely with college leadership to elevate and advance the college’s strategic priorities and its needs for ongoing student recruitment as well as fundraising development. Create or oversee the creation of compelling, timely content that can be used in all forms of digital and print media. As part of the overall communications plan for the college, maintain a social media calendar for the college’s main accounts and coordinate posting as necessary with Strategic Communications’ enterprise-level channels. Serve as the College’s webmaster to maintain and optimize the PLHC and FOUR websites in compliance and alignment with university-wide governance standards and policies, accessibility requirements, and Strategic Communications’ best practices. Participate in PLHC and UVM committees and groups, as appropriate for role.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 1-5 years of experience in communications field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with different populations. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
