Who's Hiring

Warehouse Jobs in Columbus: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a warehouse job in Columbus?
Start by targeting the areas where warehouse work concentrates in Columbus: Rickenbacker, Obetz, and the industrial corridors along I-270. E-commerce fulfillment centers, third-party logistics providers, and automotive parts distributors hire most frequently and often run multiple hiring cycles per year. Forklift certification, familiarity with inventory systems, and prior pick-and-pack experience give candidates a clear edge in this market.
Which companies hire warehouses in Columbus?
Companies currently hiring warehouses in Columbus include Cardinal Health, GEODIS, and Macy's, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Columbus attracts a mix of national logistics giants, regional distributors, and large retailers with dedicated fulfillment operations, particularly around the Rickenbacker Inland Port and the southern industrial belt.
Are there remote warehouse jobs in Columbus?
Yes, though hands-on warehouse roles like receiving, picking, and loading are almost always on-site by nature. About 8% of warehouse openings tied to Columbus are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, concentrated in roles like inventory analyst, warehouse coordinator, and supply chain support positions rather than floor-level operations.
How can I get a warehouse job in Columbus with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Columbus is a general labor or warehouse associate role at a fulfillment center or third-party logistics provider, where employers regularly hire without prior experience and provide on-the-job training. Columbus WorkPlace and Columbus State Community College offer forklift and materials-handling programs that accelerate hiring. Starting in a temp-to-hire position through one of the industrial staffing operations near Rickenbacker is another common path to full-time work.
