Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
This role sits at the intersection of data strategy, business analysis, and vendor partnership. This role will evaluate the value of external data products, build compelling business cases, and drive initiatives from concept through execution. Strong collaboration with business partners is at the core of this work — partnering with product management, data science, and analytics teams to translate external data capabilities into delivering on strategies that enable new business capabilities and better outcomes for our customers.You will leverage sharp business acumen, strong data & analytics knowledge, and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. You will assess cost-benefit trade-offs, navigating vendor relationships, and partnering across Product, Distribution and other Personal Insurance value streams to unlock new opportunities. Intellectual curiosity is essential — this role will dig into existing workflows, ask the right questions, and identify where external data can do more.
What Will You Do?
- Drive discussions with data providers regarding new product offerings and existing product enhancements.
- Lead discussions with product strategy and R&D teams regarding the business value of external data sources.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop comprehensive business requirements and support training and communication for broader organization.
- Diagnose and solve for production external data issues.
- Responsible for leading evaluations and working with the teams to update existing solutions and drive implementations of external data.
- Monitor the performance of external data products and their underwriting strategies.
- Responsible for bringing awareness on vendor outages and in some instances working with the product teams to get resolution to impacted policies.
- Responsible for researching existing systems with regard to external data and developing impact assessments for issues and strategic efforts.
- Ensure compliance with data security and protection requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in business management, mathematics, management information, finance, actuarial science, economics or other analytics-related field.
- Demonstrate understanding of third party data.
- Knowledge of the Property and Casualty industry.
- Performs analysis with of external data implementations understands the impacts of decisions on the broader organization.
- Works with a team to support development of new product strategies.
- Demonstrates strong business and technical acumen.
