The typical path starts with a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a quantitative field, often followed by an MBA or a master's in data science. Most New York employers expect several years of hands-on machine learning or AI product work before moving into a strategy role, and a portfolio of cross-functional AI initiatives carries significant weight in hiring decisions.
Which companies hire ai strategy leads in New York?
Employers hiring ai strategy leads in New York right now include Aon, Arthur J. Glatfelter Agency, and Brown Brothers Harriman &, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's concentration of financial institutions, large media companies, and global consulting firms means openings appear across a wide range of industries rather than clustering in a single sector.
Which New York cities have the most ai strategy lead jobs?
New York account for the most ai strategy lead openings in New York. Manhattan drives the largest share because of its dense concentration of financial services firms, management consultancies, and Fortune 500 headquarters, while roles in areas like White Plains or Melville reflect the regional campuses and healthcare or insurance employers anchored in those suburban corridors.
