Who's Hiring

Analyst Intern Jobs in Chicago: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a analyst intern job in Chicago?
Focus your search on the Loop and River North, where Chicago's financial services firms, management consultancies, and corporate headquarters cluster most of their internship hiring. Candidates with Excel fluency, data visualization skills, and familiarity with SQL tend to stand out in Chicago's analytical roles. Targeting mid-size consulting firms and regional banks alongside the large institutions broadens your realistic options considerably.
Which companies hire analyst interns in Chicago?
Companies currently hiring analyst interns in Chicago include Cboe Global Markets, Health Care Service Corporation, and Envoy Air, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Chicago's mix of global financial firms, homegrown consulting shops, and major corporate headquarters means analyst intern openings come from a wide range of employer sizes and sectors across the city.
Are there remote analyst intern jobs in Chicago?
Yes, though it depends on the role: desk-based analytical work is frequently offered remotely or hybrid, while operations-side or trading-floor intern roles tend to be on-site. About 71% of analyst intern openings tied to Chicago are remote or hybrid as of November 2026. Data and strategy-focused roles at technology and consulting firms in the city lean most remote-friendly.
How can I get a analyst intern job in Chicago with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Chicago is targeting regional banks, mid-size consulting firms, and Chicago-based fintech startups in the West Loop and Fulton Market area, which hire more entry-level analytical talent than the large downtown institutions. Building a portfolio of personal data projects and pursuing internships through local programs at DePaul, Loyola, or UIC can open doors when direct experience is thin.
