South Lake Union and the Eastside corridor around Bellevue and Redmond host the heaviest hiring. Candidates who demonstrate hands-on experience with modern data stack tools, dbt, and cloud warehouses get the most traction. Contributing to local data meetups or open-source projects visible to Seattle hiring managers also helps differentiate your application.

Seattle's employer mix ranges from global technology platforms and major e-commerce operations to fast-growing SaaS companies and healthcare systems, all of which run significant data and analytics teams.
