Analytics Manager Jobs in Chicago: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a analytics manager job in Chicago?
The strongest entry point is targeting Chicago's dense financial services and healthcare technology sectors, where analytics teams are large and hiring is consistent. Concentrations in the Loop and Fulton Market mean in-person networking at industry meetups carries real weight here. Candidates who can demonstrate experience with Python, SQL, or Tableau alongside business storytelling tend to move faster through Chicago hiring processes than those with technical skills alone.
Which companies hire analytics managers in Chicago?
Employers hiring analytics managers in Chicago right now include Okta, ZS Associates, and Beyond Finance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Chicago's mix of global insurance carriers, regional banks, major health systems, and high-growth tech companies in Fulton Market means openings appear across a wide range of employer sizes and sectors.
Are there remote analytics manager jobs in Chicago?
Yes, analytics manager roles are well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements given the desk-based, data-driven nature of the work. About 68% of analytics manager openings tied to Chicago are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly that flexibility has been adopted across the city's tech and financial employers. Strategy and reporting work tends to be the most remote-friendly, while roles requiring stakeholder collaboration on-site are more likely to require presence in the Loop or Fulton Market.
How can I get a analytics manager job in Chicago with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Chicago is moving up from a senior analyst role inside a large Loop-based financial firm or a Fulton Market tech company, where internal promotions to analytics manager happen regularly. Chicago's major health systems and insurance carriers also hire analytics team leads with three to four years of experience when the technical depth is strong. Building visibility through local data and analytics communities, like those run by Chicago-area universities and professional groups, helps candidates get noticed before openings are posted.
Which industries hire the most analytics managers in Chicago?
Chicago analytics manager roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Banking & Financial Services, and Fintech, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Chicago's status as a national hub for financial trading, insurance underwriting, and healthcare administration means these sectors generate consistent analytics leadership demand that outlasts broader hiring cycles.
