INTRODUCTION
You're not just working a ticket queue. You're owning the platform. This is a senior support role at a specialist credit trading software vendor. Their clients are sophisticated. The product is deep. And because the team is small, what you do actually matters.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You'll own core areas of the platform day to day. Trade workflows, fund onboarding, permissions, application consistency. These aren't tasks you pick up and hand off. They're yours. You understand them, you manage them, and when something needs fixing you're the person who sees it through. You'll work directly with clients, not through layers of account management. You'll also work closely with engineering and project teams, which means you're not just reacting to problems. You're part of how the platform evolves. The exposure here is genuinely broad. Rather than supporting one narrow slice of a huge enterprise OMS, you'll get into trade workflows, OMS functionality, fund structures, permissions, financial data and client onboarding across the full investment lifecycle.
The company is growing and there are real paths forward inside the business, not just a title change every few years, but genuine growth as the platform scales.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- You'll bring real OMS experience at the L1/L2 level and strong financial knowledge.
- Experience across bonds, loans, CLO or private credit would put you in a strong position.
- You're comfortable owning problems end-to-end without needing someone to hand-hold the process.
LOCATION
This is fully remote.
Ready to own something rather than just support it? Get in touch. No up-to-date CV required.

Senior Level Application Support Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level application support specialist job?
Employers hiring at the senior level look for candidates who have owned production environments end-to-end, not just responded to tickets. Demonstrating that you have led root-cause analysis initiatives, mentored junior analysts, and collaborated directly with development or infrastructure teams to reduce recurring incidents will set you apart. A portfolio of measurable outcomes, such as reduced mean time to resolution or improved system uptime, carries significant weight at this stage.
Which companies hire senior level application support specialists?
Companies hiring senior level application support specialists right now include The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Cls US Services, and Jack Henry & Associates, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from large enterprises, healthcare systems, financial institutions, and technology firms that depend on continuous application availability and need experienced professionals to own that responsibility.
Are there remote senior level application support specialist jobs?
Yes, and remote access is more common at the senior level than at earlier career stages. About 92% of senior level application support specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting employer confidence in experienced professionals who can manage complex support environments and coordinate with distributed teams without on-site supervision.
What makes an application support specialist role senior level?
Senior level roles are defined by ownership and scope rather than task execution. A senior application support specialist is expected to design and improve support processes, serve as an escalation point for complex production issues, mentor mid-level and junior team members, and contribute to architectural or tooling decisions. The distinction from mid-level is accountability for outcomes across the application ecosystem, not just individual incidents.
Which industries hire the most senior level application support specialists?
Senior level application support specialist roles concentrate in Banking & Financial Services, Technology & Software, and Investment & Asset Management, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors tend to operate mission-critical applications at scale, creating sustained demand for experienced professionals who can maintain uptime, lead incident response, and drive continuous improvement across complex environments.
