Mountain High Outfitters is seeking a results-driven Area Manager to lead six or more Shops across Metro Atlanta and North Georgia. You will turn company strategy into strong in-store execution—growing sales and profitability, coaching Store Managers, and delivering an outstanding Guest Experience (GX).

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive Area Performance
- Build and execute focused action plans that strengthen sales, profitability, and Shop performance.
- Visit Shops regularly to reinforce operational standards, visual merchandising, and consistent Guest and Employee Experiences (GX/EX).
Develop People & Culture
- Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing Store Managers while building a pipeline of future leaders.
- Set clear expectations, provide actionable feedback, and cultivate an inclusive, energetic team culture.
Champion Guests & Community
- Elevate Guest engagement through product knowledge, authentic service, and Associate development.
- Support Mountain High community events and resolve escalated Guest concerns with care and professionalism.
WHAT YOU BRING
- At least 2 years of multi-unit retail management or high-volume big-box retail management experience; outdoor, athletic, or specialty retail experience preferred.
- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to inspire performance across multiple Shops.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
- A genuine enthusiasm for outdoor activities, gear, and helping others explore nature.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time throughout the assigned area.
