Who's Hiring

Assistant General Manager Jobs in Louisville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a assistant general manager job in Louisville?
Louisville's strongest hiring comes from its hospitality, healthcare, and food and beverage sectors, so targeting hotels along the Bourbon Trail, senior living campuses in the East End, and restaurant groups in NuLu and the Highlands gives you the best odds. Candidates who can show measurable results in labor cost control, guest satisfaction scores, or multi-unit coordination stand out most with Louisville employers.
Which companies hire assistant general managers in Louisville?
Companies currently hiring assistant general managers in Louisville include NVA, Wendy's, and Taco Bell, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Louisville's mix of regional hospitality groups, growing healthcare systems, and national retail chains makes it a consistent market for this role across multiple employer types.
Are there remote assistant general manager jobs in Louisville?
Yes, but only in a narrow slice of the role, since assistant general manager work is mostly on-site by nature. About 0% of assistant general manager openings tied to Louisville are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, typically in corporate or multi-unit oversight functions. Administrative and reporting duties are the parts most likely to be handled off-site for Louisville-based employers.
How can I get a assistant general manager job in Louisville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Louisville is moving up from a department supervisor or shift lead role within the city's hospitality or food service sector, where internal promotions are common at hotel groups downtown and restaurant operations in NuLu. Louisville's bourbon tourism industry also creates openings at distillery retail and event venues that regularly promote from within, making floor-level experience in those settings a genuine ladder.
