Responsibilities
Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.
Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
Code solutions, perform unit tests, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.
Contribute to story refinement/define requirements.
Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
Utilize multiple architectural components in design and development of client requirements.
Analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors.
Triage the underlying cause.
Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
Handle FICC Emerging Markets deliveries including algorithm development, strategic framework development.
Provide intraday/EOD supports to the desk to help facilitate workflow.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (any), or related: and
3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide web applications using Python, SQL, NoSQL data bases, RESTful APIs, Connectivity protocols for streaming financial data and React JS;
Designing test driven automation frameworks using middleware technologies including SOAPUI, REST, XML, and JSON;
Enhancing and improving existing business applications including core frameworks, trade blotters, and management reporting tools;
Engineering and designing continuous integration, continuous deployment, build tool, version control, and test-driven development tools;
Building internal products and tools using Python/UI interaction Design/Database interaction and data ETL/automation and alert system design; and,
Assisting all support units on inquiries within the team, other internal tech and business teams regarding products and data usage.
